A Message From The President
Welcome to Greenville, South Carolina’s Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, or ASHRAE for short. I’m the local Chapter President. Please browse around our site, and come join us at one of our monthly lunch meetings on the second Tuesday of the month (September through May). We’d love to have you also participate in our seasonal golf tournaments or other occasional social events. You don’t have to be a member to attend any function.
ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is a global society that focuses on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability. ASHRAE’s mission is to advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. Our local chapter members are drawn from many occupations including consulting HVAC engineers, facility HVAC engineers, HVAC equipment sales and support engineers, mechanical system testing professionals, manufacturing engineers, building managers, and utility account representatives.
If you live or work in the upstate of South Carolina, are looking for help and/or guidance with building mechanical systems, or just want to connect with others in your professional field, you’ve found the right place.
